When morning rolls around, birds are up early chirping away. The early bird gets the worm, as they say. Chirping birds is a nice and relaxing sound to wake up to in the morning. You can hear birds chirping from nearly any place in town. Make sure not to keep your windows too clean in your Off Campus Rental House or birds might fly into your window.

Near Ohio University there are many kinds of birds that you might see on a regular basis. You can see cardinals, blue jays and wrens very often. You might also hear a woodpecker pecking away at something near your Off Campus Rental House. If you listen closely at night, you may hear the hooting of an owl. Dear carcasses on the side of the road are often tended to by hungry turkey vultures.

Birds can also be food. Many people also eat chicken. It is very lean and high in protein, making it an excellent food choice. Millions of Americans consume turkey on a near daily basis. Like chicken, turkey is also very lean and high in protein. Some folks even like to eat Cornish Game Hens. Ducks and geese are two more kinds of birds that are often eaten as food by humans. Eggs produced by chickens are also a good source of nutrients. Eggs are also a staple in many American homes. You can enjoy eating poultry and chicken eggs at your Off Campus Rental House.
