What a wild and crazy time Halloween in Athens always seems to be! Thousands of people flocking from hundreds of miles around all come here to dress up and also let loose for one or two nights. The main event traditionally occupies the Saturday night away from your Apartment Ohio University. While the Friday seems to be gaining in popularity through the years as well. Either night scores of people descend upon Court Street donning their special Halloween outfits. These costume creations come to life for one weekend only, where they endure constant abuse (the costumes) and then immediately discarded with only the memories and pictures remaining.
