Yesterday was the birthday of Thomas Jefferson. If still alive he would turn 278 years old. Jefferson died 24 years after the founding of Ohio University in 1804. He started the University of Virginia. Ohio University modeled many dorms and other Athens apartment housing after those at the University of Virginia.

Jefferson signed the Declaration of Independence and was also elected the third president here. He also had talents in math in addition to making fine whiskey. Many local college students seem to also prefer whiskey as an alcoholic beverage. This includes at the bars on Court Street and also in the privacy of their own Athens Apartment Housing. Thomas Jefferson owned a great deal of land. By age 21 he had inherited over five thousand acres of land. This includes the famed property of Monticello. We too notice all the fabulous property around town. You can find lots of student friendly Athens Apartment Housing in the Palmer Street district. Let’s not forget the Athens Apartment Housing in the Milliron Street district as well.
