Cleaning tips for your Athens Apartments
We’re not sure about you, but we do not particularly enjoy the necessary task of cleaning. Most people attending Ohio University do not look forward to deep cleaning. But doing it a little as you go makes it easier than trying to do it all at once. You’ll have to clean again sometime anyways. So keeping a regular cleaning schedule prevents those knuckle bleeding scrubbing sessions we hate. Moving into a new apartment, we usually notice a clean place. Cleaning those Athens Apartments while living there can be another story. Everybody has a different definition for clean. We’ve provided several helpful tips below for cleaning. Doesn’t everybody like a clean place?
Lights and Ceiling Fans For Athens Apartments
Wash out all those dirty light globes because you’ll notice they have bugs and debris in them. You’ll see this when you turn on the lights. Be careful not to bust the light globe, they cost more than you think sometimes. If you have a burned out bulb, you should replace it as well. Your eyes will thank you. Dust off those ceiling fans and also be ready for lots of dust to fall below. Cleaning the ceiling fan and lights regularly also helps with reducing allergies in our Athens Apartments.
Baseboards, HVAC Vents, Blinds
Dust and wipe down all those HVAC vents, blinds, and baseboards with a damp cloth. Like we said above, cleaning these regularly helps reduce allergies. Most places have these items, so make sure you keep them clean.
Ovens, Kitchens and Bathrooms
We recommend spraying your oven with Easy Off oven cleaner and waiting for a few hours. Be patient because the oven cleaner will do a great job. Wipe clean with a damp rag and soapy water. Repeat as needed. Replace any broken drip pans. If frozen, you may need to unplug the refrigerator to clean it. We must defrost iced up freezers before cleaning them out. Wipe out kitchen cabinets and drawers with a mild cleaner. Use a similar method to clean the bathrooms as well. Reach out to Bobcat Rentals with any questions you may have.
