Ohio Off Campus Housing Friendsgiving
Ohio University consumes a large portion of not only the total square feet in Athens, but also a large portion of the local housing market. We don’t mean they own the actual houses and Ohio Off Campus Housing apartments. We refer to the fact that the majority of rental housing in this town aims to attract people associated with the college. This primarily includes the college students, but also includes some university staff, faculty and employees of all types. Since most of the people living in the rental housing have come from another place, many leave and go home during these times. But what do these people who remain do to celebrate Thanksgiving? Well, many organize a group pot luck meal among Ohio Off Campus Housing friends as a celebration solution. This cultural phenomena has been dubbed Friendsgiving and has thrived as an alternative for several years now.

For those who are a little more adventurous, see if you can go home with a friend. Not only is it great to have a travel buddy on a road trip, but you will also experience something new. You probably like the way your family prepares certain dishes. But remember how exciting it is to try someone else’s food and get blown away by a certain dish? You can always depend on a desert you will like. There’s probably a bread product that you will also enjoy. We suggest giving it a chance because, at some point, you had to eat every one of your favorite foods for a first time.
