Student Housing Too Far From Campus?

Category: Category:   Bulletin Board

When you are looking for Student Housing near Ohio University, it is important to know the right location for your situation. We hear a lot about the search for the best Student Housing. So we know that many students wonder how far away from campus can be considered too far. The answer to this question will differ for each student. We will still attempt to help you with our thoughts here.

The Student Housing Simple Answer

The simple answer is wherever you live, you want to get to your classes within 10 to 15 minutes.

The reason this is considered the simple answer is because we know each student has classes in different buildings, different modes of transportation, and different levels of health. In addition to this, we have found that it is much easier to get to campus in the spring and summer than it is in the fall and winter.

When you go to choose your Student Housing, be sure to test how long it will take you to get to campus. Whether you are driving, walking, biking, or skipping, you need to know how far away you are in terms of time.

And Also, FYI

We heard some students who live more than 10 minutes away sometimes struggle with classroom attendance. There are also students who tend to be consistently tardy despite their best efforts. Of course, this does not apply to everyone

If you can handle being further away, prices start to drop. A five minute car drive out of town, can save hundreds of dollars. Have a look for yourself. Small landlords manage most of the places you find in that area.

We hope these tips help you in finding the perfect place you always wanted! And as always look to Bobcat Rentals to find your perfect fit!
