Does your family celebrate Christmas? (Do you think it’s appropriate to call it X-Mas?) What about Kwanzaa? Or Hanukkah? Perhaps you behold something else the people living in an Uptown Rental around Ohio University haven’t even heard of yet. Whatever you subscribe to, happy that. Also, take a peep below for some happy holiday thoughts.
Uptown Rental Caroling
Who likes to sing?! We do!! Currently, there is no Uptown Rental caroling that we know of. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get something going! Lots of interested people would love to join you also. We could sings songs about other stuff. We don’t have to sing about good tidings and holiday cheer. In some of these cases, a few dancers would also help liven things up. So if you like to sing and or dance, consider starting a movement in local caroling. Even if you are still learning to appreciate singing and dancing, you should think about tagging along for some good old fashioned people watching. Since you’ll pass numerous bars, dip into one for a quick pick-me-up. Or pack a flask for a quick nip whenever it suits your fancy.
Sledding Fun
The foothills of the Appalachian Mountains surround the Athens landscape. Given the plethora of hills in the area, you won’t see many people struggle to find one for sledding. With enough ice or snow travelers avoid Jeff Hill at all costs. During these times, however, you will find lots of innovative college students finding unorthodox ways to speed down that particular hill. People often grab the lunch trays from the nearby dining hall and used them as temporary snow sleds. They work quite well and they are also easy to find near your Uptown Rental. Other notable hills can be found at The Ridges and Dow Lake.
